Last minute cruise deals are sometimes talked about like they're the secret you've missed out on which will soon have you paying less than everyone else. This premise is incredibly flawed, in part because of the way many potential cruisers price shop, but also because of how the cruise industry has changed over the last twenty years. The last day of a cruise can be kind of a bummer, but I did my best to keep my head up and enjoy, especially since we were visiting Great Stirrup Cay, Norwegian Cruise Line's private island. I've been coming here since I was a baby, but it's been about ten years, so I was excited to see how things had changed. We enjoyed a beautiful day, tried out some new restaurants on the ship, and got entirely too much sun...
